He's got Nicholas Roeg as his cinematographer, and his visual scheme was able to explode on this film — it doesn't look cheap, it's not set-bound like the rest of them. And Vincent Price is playing much more sinister and realistic than he is in the other ones — it's his sadism that's horrifying.”
