“I'm a real fan of the sleazy, gritty '70s cop movie — I can't get enough of them. What makes Busting a unique animal is that Gould and Blake are vice cops who just want as many arrests as possible. They could give a damn about any of the people they bust, about their situation, about what happens to them. They just want the bust. It's got that great visual moment bathed in red, and then Blake throws a guy through a painted window and suddenly all this blue light from the night and the green from the trees floods in — it's a colorful experience.”
